The voters chose, and I am so proud to represent Western North Carolina in the US Congress starting next January. We have started a movement here in Western North Carolina and that movement is called the Mountain Democrats. I am going to work hard to represent all of Western North Carolina!

Asheville, NC — Following a race projection from the Associated Press, Democratic candidate JAMIE AGER has declared victory in the race to represent North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District. “I’m honored to have our neighbors’ confidence to represent them in Congress,” said AGER. “This is my promise to you as...
It’s Election Day. Go do your patriotic duty and vote. In North Carolina, polls are open at 6:30 AM and close at 7:30 PM, so find some time in your day and go to your assigned polling location. I’d appreciate your vote today as we bring it home.

I’ve been running for Congress for over a year, and I’ve fallen more in love with this district. I can't wait to fight for Western North Carolina.
I had a great time hosting a Trunk or Treat! It was wonderful to celebrate Halloween with so many great people.
Early Voting Ends Today (10/31)!
Early voting ends today at 3 pm! Getting to participate in our democracy is a privilege. We need good people stepping up, and that starts with showing up to vote. #WNC #Vote #GOTV
I’m Jamie Ager. A farmer running for Congress right here in Western North Carolina. I’m focused on getting Hurricane Helene recovery funding, lowering costs, making health care affordable, and cleaning up corruption in DC.
I had a great evening in Marion for a meet and greet! I enjoyed talking with folks about my priorities.
A typical day on the campaign: working on the farm, meeting with folks across Western North Carolina, and building community. It's always busy, but I'm grateful for every minute of it.

I had a great meet and greet at Auction House Food Hall and Garden in Fletcher yesterday. Thank you to everyone who came out to talk to me!
Elected officials should work for the people, not the highest bidder. That's why I'll fight to ban members of Congress from trading stock. Public service should be a responsibility, not a side hustle.
Western North Carolina came together after Hurricane Helene to help one another. This spirit inspires me, and I carry it with me as I run for Congress. We need leaders who will show up for their communities when catastrophe strikes.
My opponent can’t win on the issues or the truth, so she’s turned to fake, AI-generated ads. Western North Carolina voters deserve better. I got into this race to do politics better, and I’ll continue to run on my mountain values and delivering results for Western North Carolina.
I had another meet and greet in Burnsville yesterday! Good conversations, great neighbors, and a wonderful time.
WNC Wants Leaders Who Care
Western North Carolina deserves a leader who will show up, listen, and actually care. Our political system is drowning in partisanship and noise. Folks I talk to are craving earnest leaders who care about their community and want to solve big problems for hard working people, every single day. #NC11 #WNC #WesternNC
I spent last night in Mars Hill meeting with students and neighbors who've called this place home for years. Thank you to everyone who showed up!
It was a privilege to vote early with my family. In the greatest country in the world, we get to choose who represents us, and that’s worth showing up for. Make your voice heard in early voting or on Election Day. Voting info: nc.gov/living/voting
Running a Farm
I’ve run a farm operation for over 25 years. Raising cattle, chickens, and pigs, making sure they’re well cared for, making sure the business succeeds, is my livelihood. Coming from a farm is one thing. Actually running one day in and day out is a whole different experience. #NC11 #WNC #Farmer
